We're cool
Wayne Krivsky called today and apologized for last night's postgame deal. He said he listened to a tape on the what I said on WLW. In context, he had no problem with it.
Apology accepted.
I understand why Krivsky and Jerry Narron are a bit on edge. These are two guys whose lives are baseball. When their club is going bad, awfully really, it cuts deeply.
Judging from my e-mail and postings on the blog, they aren't the two most popular guys in the town. But I can assure that both are good guys. They've always treated me fairly. That's all a beat guy can ask.

Krivsky said "It's not going to happen."
My question: What is?
Good for You. And a classy move for Wayne.
Now do something for the fans. Let´s improve this team.
Good Guys finish where? Yep, right where the standings show us all with this team, DEAD LAST. Just like attendance will be real soon, but hey, the Good Guy will still be around to see the empty seats. They belong together. Hit em in the pockets and then they might do something, but until then, status quo! Enjoy the circus!
From my point-of-view Wayne Krivsky is an executive for a major institution in Cincinnati. Whether he had a problem with what you said or not, he should not be barking at the press like Bobby Knight. Irresponsible.
Hey George,
Wanna know something Bob Knight has that Krivsky doesn't?
Championships.
And several of them.
Good guys can finish first. Look at Tony Dungy and the Colts.
Anyone else see this as an acknowledgment that if the Reds continue to struggle Narron could be on the hot seat?
