Lineup shakeup II

New lineup:

Freel CF
Gonzalez SS
Phillips 2B
Conine 1B
Hamilton RF
Castro 3B
Ross C
Hopper LF
Lohse P

So Griffey scratched. No announcement why yet.

This from Rob Butcher:

The last time Dunn and Griffey missed a start in the same game:

8/7/05 vs Florida in a game started by LHP Dontrelle Willis. In that game, Dunn pinch hit in the ninth inning.

Phillips is not a 3 hitter. Put Hamilton there. These lineups area joke, no wonder the Reds are under 500

What a dumb play by Phillips. At least we got a hit. I thought with this lineup we would get no-hit.

I think Griffey got sick when he saw the lineup.

Oh my! They are beginning to order parkas in hell! Ross homers.

I might have a coronary!

This from CBS Sportsline.

Ken Griffey Jr. was a late lineup scratch from the Cincinnati Reds' lineup on Thursday, apparently related to inflammation of his colon.

That would be my guess as well. They still haven't announced anything. I saw Griffey before the game. He looked fine. The diverticulitis deal is gonig to be an ongoing thing.

Um, first few posters.... How does that crow taste?

They are all me. I like my crow medium-well. Cook it slow because it is tough to swallow sometimes!

Bottom of the order is still just 1 for 6. And Ross' homerun wasn't hit off Cy Young. Keisler and Thompson are basically AAA pitchers.
