Griffey, Day 3, Part II
Junior Griffey homered again the fifth. It was No. 584 of his career, so he tied and passed Mark McGwire for seventh on the all-time list on the same day.
Next up is my favorite Red, Frank Robinson, at 586.
It's 2-0 Reds, by the way, and Bronson Arroyo is pitching very well.

Since May 1, the Reds are 17-38. They were 9-21 in May and are 8-13 in June.
In series since May 1, they are 2-14. Only 2 series wins in 7 weeks. WOW. The only series were against Houston and Cleveland. They have also won more than 2 in a row only once.
And management thinks this team is very very close to being a very good team.

How much longer can ownership/ management go with the status quo. Something needs to be done, and as the cliche goes, "you can't fire the entire team". Is there any other franchise in MLB where a 29-47 record would be acceptable? Narron needs to be shown the door and Krivsky should be feeling some heat for the terrible job he's done putting together this team.
