Did Mr Castellini get mad at Brantley for telling the truth about his team and now is auditioning his replacement..

We love Brenneman, Brantley and our own John Fay

Could this possibly signal the end of George Grande? finally.

Welcome aboard, Jim. Good luck. But we need a lot more than a new voice in the booth. I get the feeling the chemistry between Marty and Jeff is not that great.

Kelch is basically taking the place of Nuxhall. Marty's contract allows him to take off a certain number of games, so they needed a third guy.

Things are fine between Marty and Brantley.

Hey..before you leave Louisville..do us a favor and grab Bruce and Bailey and throw them in the car with you.

Thanks!

I wasn't expecting that to be the first change since Jocketty took over. We need a hitter not a talker.

Not be argumentative with you John, because I respect what you write..but don't they already have a third guy? There are 5 announcers for TV and Radio, and someone always has the day off..am I wrong?

Btw..I disagree with the Brantly/Marty chemistry. I think they work very well together.

thanks John

Congratulations to Jim. I listened to him when I was living in the ville... His voice reminds me of the old time games and voices of announcers in the 50's and 60's. He will be a good addition to an already talented group.

Chris Welsh and George Grande don't do any radio. Thom does Fox games on weekends. So there were some games uncovered. I believe Nuxy did 25 games last year.

With 5 announcers, Grande,Welsch, Marty, Thom and Brantley..how many does one team need? But I guess Marty needs days off & vacations..after all he does work 6 innings a game!

I totally agree. No offense to Mr. Grande but....I can't stand the gosh and golly gee George Grande broadcasts. And the gaffaws. Chris isn't the only person crying during the broadcasts!

Thom and Jeff are doing excellent, and Chris is tolerable with the change.

On radio....you still have the pre and post game FSN guys that could do play by play (Piecorro and May)

Love Marty/Jeff/Thom, so I hope this is not a replacement for them.

For the TV however, I don't care. The TV broadcasts are so boring. I mute the TV and put 700 on.
