Kent Mercker thinks this one gets rained out. "I saw Noah at Lowe's. He was buying wood and nails. And my dogs are missing. I figure we're not going to play."
The forecast doesn't look good but the Marlins don't come back. Stay tuned.

Gotta' love Kent Mercker. If only a few more guys in the Reds' clubhouse had his attitude about both life and baseball . . . !
For all the complaining about "chemistry" and the team not trying hard, how can anyone not love Kent Mercker?! Not only does he pitch solidly, he keeps the place loose - one of the best bullpen signings WK made.
