First starter stat
Chris Welsh said he had stat.inc run the numbers for all pitchers who made their debut as starters since 2003. There was 150 of them. The average outing was 5 ininngs, 3.3 runs, 3.1 earned runs.
The Reds would take that from Homer Bailey tonight.
"(The Indians) have got the kind of club that runs up pitch counts," Jerry Narron said.
So how you think Bailey will do?

John, Any reason why CTR's blog gets lots more comments than yours? I read yours religiously while only occasionally reading CTR's. However, I'm not sure if CTR's has the blog comment approval process.
I've asked about removing the approval process, since I approve roughly 99.2 percent of the comments. I've been told that my bosses won't allow it.
