Homer's outing
Homer Bailey went five-plus innings, allowing three runs on the seven hits for the Single-A Sarasota today. He walked three and struck out three.
He had a shutout through five. He gave up a single, a double and a three-run homer in the sixth and then was pulled.

It's reached a point where Bailey has pitched enough this year. Let him go on home for the winter. No harm done.
I'd either do that. Or bring him up to pitch in relief -- in a very limited role.
I'll agree with Mr Redlegs, there is nothing more to gain by having him pitch any more this year. May be best for Cueto as well. However, I would like to see Maloney in a couple starts.
