More on Hermanson

The Reds' new signee, Dustin Hermanson, 34, was limited to six games by back problems last year. In 2005, he was closer for most of the season for the World Champion Chicago White Sox. He had 34 saves and 2.04 ERA that year. Hermanson is from Springfield, Ohio. He attended the same high school as former Red Dave Burba. The Reds watched Hermanson pitch in a session in Arizona in early February.
