Narron on Milton; lineup, Hamilton out

Jerry Narron was asked before the game if this was a big start for Eric Milton. He dance around it.

"It's a pretty important game for all of us," he said. "I'd love for Milton to go out and have a good game tonight."

Pressed a bit, he said: "I'd love for Milton to go out and have a good game."

In other words, he wasn't touching that question.

It's Ken Griffey Jr.'s first start in the 3 hole. "It's the same lineup we used against left-handers in the Pittsburgh," Narron said. "The only difference is Griffey's in for (Josh) Hamilton."


Hamilton can use the night off: He's 1-for-his-last-19.
