He is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of Elder High School and the University of Dayton.

Full 'er up for half-price tickets

From the Reds:

The Reds and United Dairy Farmers are partnering to bring fans half-price tickets for games in April and May at Great American Ball Park...for a limited time at any Greater Cincinnati, Dayton or Columbus UDF location, fans can get a special reds.com coupon code with a minimum 8-gallon purchase of gas...the coupon code will be printed on the gas receipt and can be redeemed only at reds.com/udf....the half-price discount is good for up to 6 tickets per game in the Field Box, Mezzanine and View Level seating areas...tickets are subject to availability and processing fees will apply.
