Tied up again

Edwin Encarnacion hit his third home run this season in the bottom of the fifth. He extended his hitting streak to 10 games, tying a career high, with a 414-foot shot into the left field stands.

It's 1-1, heading into the sixth.

the hitting streak for EE is great!

here's a quick question and comment.... has anyone noticed practically the only way the reds have scored runs the past week or 2 is via the long ball? how many runs have we manufactured vs the hr?

Reds fans, true reds fans, easy boys. Do all of you realize that we have the best pitching rotation that we've had since 1990? Yeah, Bronson is struggling but he'll come around as soon as he puts his guitar down and starts earning his money. Fogg is in the bullpen, even though he should be sent home but at least he's out of the rotation. Matt Belisle is going to fill Foggs rotation spot nicely. At 3-0 in the minors with an ERA under 2.oo he seemsto be ready. Our bats will come alive boys, they will, it's just a matter of time. You know just as well as i do that we can win 8 out of 10 games and be right back in the thick of things in the division. Harang looked like his normal self today pitching, at the moment into the seventh inning. Easy guys! We're going to the playoffs this year. Remember when i said it. Harang just threw his 110th pitch of this game with 8 k's and no walks. Harang, Queto and Volques are a strong 123 with Belisle and Bronson backing them. Our true rotation starts Monday with Matt taking th mound. Lets face it...we're going to hit and when we start the Cubs and Cardinals will take notice. By the way...Dusty knows what he's doing, back off and concentrate watching your tv. Thats why he's in the dugout and all you "haters' are on your couch. PLAYOFFS BABY!
