John Fay has been the Reds beat writer for the Enquirer since 2001. Prior to that, he served in a variety of roles for the Enquirer: backup Reds writer, UC beat writer, backup Bengals writer and as a general assignment reporter. He is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of Elder High School and the University of Dayton.

It looks like Votto and Hattie are playing every other day.
If Volquez pitches well, I really like our chances this game. (Better than Arroyo vs Hammels Monday) If he doesnt, it may be rough.
I'm think I,m feeling a round tripper from either Griffey or Dunn. Dunner has 2 career off Meyers.
Griff and EE have the highest avg vs Meyers (.333)
BP is 0 for 7.
(Maybe a good game to break out of the 2 game mini slump hes in)
