34 minutes from first pitch
It's cool, breezy and cloudy as we close in on first pitch of the Ed Smith Stadium spring opener. It's probably 60 or so. It was 80 degrees and muggy last night in Fort Myers. I know, I know, those of you in the Cincinnati will take either.
Looking forward to seeing Aaron Harang pitch.
Kyle Lohse doesn't think his hamstring is too bad. He was going to play catch today.
Made it back to Siesta Key in time to watch Letterman. Loved the return of Charles Grodin. In my younger days, I would have stopped by the Daiquiri Deck. The Deck is starting to get a little bit of the spring break feel. The waitress are wearing "Don't You Wish My Girlfriend Was Drunk Like Me" t-shirts. They're available to buy, if you're interested.
Spring break affords me to opportunity to watch people much younger better looking than me have a much better time than me. It's quite a way to pass the time.
There's always a possibility of some extracurricular activity. The other night Swinger and I were enjoying a beverage when we observed a petite blond standing atop a bar stool doing a shot or two. A little later, she left her bodybuilder boyfriend for a trip to ladies room. Ten minutes passed, no return. Twenty minutes, a half hour. Finally Mr. Olympia flagged down a waitress for a rescue mission. Don't think the night turned out as planned for the big guy.

can't pick up WLW during the day (PA), so keep me posted please!
John, Your chronicles of the adventures of these common people that occupy Florida with all of the Major Leaguers is pretty enjoyable. Keep up the fine work.
