From the Reds:
TODAY'S TRANSACTIONS: OF Jason Ellison (#16) joined the club today...yesterday he was claimed off waivers from the Mariners...he will take the roster spot vacated by RHP Todd Coffey, who has been optioned to Louisville.

Our long national nightmare is over...
Louisville is still so close - Sarasota is too nice...are there any Death Valley or Southern Arizona in the middle of the desert leagues to ship him off to?
Ah well, flatten his tires when he arrives, put him on a "No Fly" list, and make him thumb it if he wants to return to GABP.
