Lineup and a little Dusty

Norris Hopper CF
Ryan Freel 2B
Ken Griffey RF
Adam Dunn LF
Jeff Keppinger SS
Edwin Encarnacion 3B
Joey Votto 1B
Paul Bako C
Edinson Volquez P

V. LH Ted Lilly.

WHY NO BRANDON PHILLIPS? "I think he needs a day," Baker said. "He's played every day, every inning. I see him swinging at bad pitches and taking good ones. He's really upset with himself. Plus, he's 0-for-13 against Lilly. Day game after a night game. When you add all up, this is the day."

Phillips agrees.

"I'm trying to do too much. I was trying to do that one thing to pump the team up rather than let the game come to me. Dusty saw it and pulled me aside."

CRANK IT UP: Music was blaring in the visitors clubhouse, coming from Bronson Arroyo's iPod, which was hooked up to the stereo. "It's better than that morgue that's been in there," Baker said. "Bronson asked me. I said go ahead. That's a sign of leadership."

Every time I hear Bronson Arroyo "sing" on those hideous JTM commercials with the creep, I want to puke. I will never buy another JTM product as long as those commercials air.

love hop leading off, love phillips attitude regarding the off-day, and think it's great that bronson is trying to change the mood and dusty allowed him to do so (though the music probably sucks)...cubs fan at work assures me lilly has been horrible so far...losing streak ends today folks

I'm with you BATSFAN, I get a kick out of the commercials. Heck, lately it's been the best performance by a Red in uniform.

Not so sure that we shouldn't try Hopper and Keppinger 1, 2 in the order a couple of more times. They seemed to work well there last season. EE should likely be down anothe spot or two.

And I don't care how bad Lilly has looked this year he's a left-hander, pitched well against us last year and will likely make us look like a bunch of A ball hitters. I hope I'm wrong but that's what I'm expecting again today.

Welsh is ok when his goody-two-shoes partner George Grande is not working.I like how Thom is always calling out Reds players & management. It gives Welsh a little more to work with, instead when he's with Wally,he becomes Bev.God,Grande is the biggest but-smacker I ever heard come out of a tv.He's always so chippy, even when the reds are losing. The funniest part is when Grande has to promote the Best Damn Sports Show period, he says the the Best Sports show period,LOL.

Wally's not allowed to cuss, not even for money.

But I agree the commercial sucks.Almost as bad as that Gold star chili commercial,

"Get lost in the taste"

Now I really know why I'm a skyline fan.Gold star chili is horrid, runny, & their marketing team are idiots.

That is a very mature comment by Phillips and illustrates to me that he has come a long way as a Red.

Wow i see a small change in the line up. I'm actually excited to watch the game now, instead of just checking up on it. Go Griffey, go Dunn, Go Kepp, Go Volquez. I hope the wind doesn't sweep the reds right out of town.

Bat, that's simply hilarious. Great job. You deserve a YAYAYAYAYAY!

REDDlegg is right, Chris Welch is almost tolerable when George (White Noise) Grande is not on there with him. I guess I am too old to appreciate Arroyo's 'singing'.
Gold Star "Lost is the Taste" is just as bad but at least I haven't had to see the "Newbie's get lost in the taste" lately. I won't eat that 'crud'(got that word from George Grande) either.

But then what will Jorge Cantu eat when he comes over to your house?

I think he will eat you for breakfast and your alter IDs for lunch.

LOL!!! Probably a whole heaping of what Jeff Keppinger's been eating over there as well! ;)

If I could have a nickel for every time CSA said something negative, I'd be a rich man. In fact, I will be willing to place bets on anyone that the next comment that CSA makes will be negative. Any takers?

I think I am going to the store right now to buy a whole bunch of JTM products.

THEY'RE TOGETHER AGAIN!!!
