John Fay has been the Reds beat writer for the Enquirer since 2001. Prior to that, he served in a variety of roles for the Enquirer: backup Reds writer, UC beat writer, backup Bengals writer and as a general assignment reporter. He is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of Elder High School and the University of Dayton.

Tied at 1 after nine, we're headed for a second extra-innings game in as many days.

Oh good lord, Edwin just muffed a double play grounder. I don't believe it. Of course if he doesn't homer back in the 6th we don't make it to extra frames anyhow. THis team is scuffling so badly its hard to believe.

Wow nice comeback win... I love to be proven wrong. That was huge, that might have just salvaged the season. Kudos to EE for responding to the boos with his second dinger of the game. And Griff still has something left in the tank. I saw that nice grab he had running towards the 1st base foul line right at the wall. Phillips still isn't hitting yet but he legged out a hit to keep the rally going in the 10th. Lets carry some momentum into the next series vs. LA!
