I am waiting to say howdy to CSA and Kevin.

I think Bailey will end up in long relief or even maybe a closer on some team

Bailey has some head problems that get in the way of his pitching. Until he matures, he is not the help the Reds need.

CSA and Kevin must be regrouping.

If Homer's problem is his head, then do one of two things...trade him now, while he's still worth something or send him back down to low A and leave him ther until he matures. Maybe shock treatment is what he needs.

sfo: I think that is why he is in AAA instead of with the Reds. I think BAJ hit it on the head, long relief or closer for another team. Reading between the lines, ego and coachability problems overwhelm the talent. He may need the constant beatings he is throwing up in AAA that he wouldn't get in A ball to get his head straight.

Hamilton- got to love the guy. We need Bruce so we can forget and move on...

Good points...but he's getting worse the longer he's there. Maybe he'll get packaged with a veteran or two and get something decent in return. Or bring him up and put him in the bull pen and see how he does. Definatley sounds like he has a closers head.

John, what percentage you give Bailey for being a Red in October? I say right now 70%.

Id make Bailey a closer on some team..hes got the oomph and the demeanor..I just don't see him starting unless he dramatically changes

The Reds of the last couple of decades are the epitome of the old army saying "snafu."

One last thing from me on Bailey. JBA may have a real good insight on Bailey being a closer.

Homer Bailey - Rob Dibble

Need we say more!
