He is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of Elder High School and the University of Dayton.

How soon do you think Chris Valaika will be promoted to AA? He's hitting .383 with 7 hrs and 31 rbis. It seems he has nothing left to prove in high A.

Also, do you know anything about the stuff of Jordan Smith, who is pitching tonight for Sarasota?
