The Reds agreed to terms with Todd Coffey, Matt Belisle, Bobby Livingston and Gary Majewski. They renewed Brandon Phillips. That means everyone in camp is signed.
The fact that Phillips was renewed could indicate acrimony. Not the case.
"We tried," GM Wayne Krivsky said. "We had an honest difference of opinion. We respect their position. They respect ours.
"I'm happy with everybody," Phillips said. "I'm good. I got a job. I'm not upset with anyone. I want to get a long-term deal done. I love (manager Jerry Narron). I love (GM Wayne Krivsky)."
Reds play Detroit at 1:05 p.m. No, Sean Casey did not make the trip.
