Streak ends, Reds lose 9-7

Bubba Crosby hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth. But the Reds fall anyway. They're 6-1-1. Here's the game report:
Tigers 9, Reds 7: The Reds finally lose in their eighth game of the spring, snapping a 13-game unbeaten streak that dated back to last year.
The arms: Aaron Harang went three innings and gave up four runs on seven hits. Rheal Cormier pitched a scoreless inning. Calvin Medlock gave up two runs in the eighth.
The bats: Adam Dunn hit his second home run of the spring. Jerry Gil hit a two-RBI triple. Bubba Crosby hit a three-run homer in the ninth.
The rest: The game drew 7,327 – just short of a sellout. Fans of the American League champion Tigers made up a good portion of the crowd. The Reds made several nice plays -- Josh Hamilton made a nice running catch in right; Center fielder Ryan Freel threw out a runner at third; shortstop Alex Gonzalez took a hit with a leaping catch of a line drive.
Up next: The Reds play the Cleveland Indians today at 1:05 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium. Right-hander Bronson Arroyo faces right-hander Adam Miller.

Ryan Freel threw up a runner at third

So that's how he keeps so trim!

Was Freel on second or in the outfield?
