Bullpen streak is over
Pirates right fielder Brad Eldred hit a solo home run off Reds reliever Todd Coffey making it 5-3 with one out in the eighth.
It was the first earned run allowed by the Reds' bullpen this season - a span of 14-2/3 innings.
UPDATE: It's 6-3 heading into the bottom of the ninth after Pirates left fielder Jason Bay started top of the inning with a solo homer off Reds reliever Jon Coutlangus.

I agree, Don. It was certainly not a good start. Not even close. Yet, I'm waiting to hear all the comments from those who said "he looked good". The Reds need to dump him. We don't need to feel bad for the man. After all, he'll walk away with another 9 million.
