From the Reds:
Today the Reds reinstated from the 15-day disabled list LHP Eric Milton (lower back spasms) and placed on the 15-day DL RHP Jared Burton (strained left hamstring).
Burton apparently is the first cold weather-related injury. He suffered the injury running in the outfield Saturday and had his left hammy wrapped this morning.

When oh when do we get an opportunity to *finally* get to see a start from Hamilton? As a Reds fan, I'm starting to feel a bit jip'd. Having said that, I'm sure there's a good reason for it (stomach ailment earlier and all), just what I feel...
According to the Reds Presspass release, Burton to 15 day DL with strained hamstring
Hilarious how these guys come up with an injury whenever they need to make a move.
Hope both Burton and the Reds can remember which hammy is bad. It would be rather embarassing to wrap the wrong one.
Of course, once he reports to L'ville for 30 days of rehab, he will be out of sight and out of mind.
Gotta think the A's would be looking into the legitimacy of this injury ...
I'm glad there's no official MLB doctor that determines if a player can go to the DL. This looks a little sketchy to me. But at least this allows the Reds to hold on to Burton and keep Coutlangus up.
