Do you think Phil's appearance tonight will be his final audition before his recall?

They need to move Bruce up now, no reason to wait, get up while he is hot. There is no reason not to push him at this point.

Kelly, conversely, there's not reason TO push him. We've got a set outfield for at least two years (until Jr's contract expires).

I know its different between pitchers and fielders, but we aren't rushing Homer for a very specific reason.

However, I do agree... the numbers are screaming AA. I say he's there before the break.

Jay Bruce is not going to be brought up as he is only in advanced Single-A ball.

Only one question, is Krivsky watching the games? If he is watching, he's looking through rose colored glasses or leaving after the 6th inning.

The Reds have this unique ability to dismay, disturb, disenfranchise, and just plain ole 'dis' the fan base. Did I read that the Reds just recently extended Coffey's contract? It begs the question. WHY? But like Milton, they keep bringing him in to insure that the game gets totally out of reach. I am DIS-gusted!

I was not advocating moving Bruce to the majors, just AA....through the break next year or all year, 1/2 yr in AAA and last part of 08 in the Majors......then starting in 09

Here's a stat I wish Narron would pay attention to. In the three times Todd Coffey has pitched three days in a row he has given up five earned runs in 2 2/3 innings for an ERA of 17 something. He's only allowed 10 earned runs all year and half of them have been on days where he was pitching for the third day in a row.

If Narron could figure out how to use the bullpen better there might be a prayer for this team.
