Home schedule

The Reds announced their home schedule. The biggest thing is Red Sox are coming in June 13, 14 and 15. The only other interleague games are with Cleveland May 16-18.

Looks like there's will be four three-city trips. Thanks, Bud.

Opening Day is March 31 vs. Arizona.

John, any word out if the Reds will be in Toronto as part of the AL east teams they play?

They go to Toronto and New York to play the Yankees. I was hoping for Baltimore becasue I've never been to Camden Yards.

I think that I will hold off on ordering my tickets for next year until I see Castellini make a legitimate effort to improve this team.
Good starts would be:
1. Hire a proven manager.
2. Hire a proven GM.
3. Get rid of our aging, injury prone, overpaid, lazy outfielder. (this is a tough one, of course because no one else will take an aging, injury prone, overpaid, lazy outfielder).
4. Trade for a proven winning starting pitcher (another tough one but it is possible).

Until one or more of these moves is accomplished it will be more seasons of total wins in the low to mid 70s and I will have to listen to the babbling moron (George Grande) on the TV. At least replace him.
