Huggins here at the game
Kansas State basketball coach Bob Huggins is on the press box level and I spoke to him for a few minutes.
It was ironic because just a few minutes prior Thom Brennaman said on the radio Huggins and his wife were sitting with Nick Lachey in the front row on the Diamond Club level.
"I'm just sitting with friends and having a good time," said the former UC coach, who was wearing a Kansas State polo shirt.
Asked what he likes most about Opening Day, Huggins said the excitement of the game and festivities and "the people here are wonderful."
Huggins said he was going to the radio booth to meet the crew.
The Wildcats were 23-12 this past season and made it to the second round of the National Invitation Tournament.
