What, me worry?
Reds fans will remember Lou Piniella as the base-throwing, Rob Dibble-wrestling manager of the 1990 World Champions, but in his first season as the Cubs manager, Piniella sounds like an Australian with his "No worries, mate" approach.
"If you're a worrier, there's so many things to worry about," Piniella said before the game today. "I don't worry about anything. I have confidence in my players, in my team. We go out and play the best we can. If we win a baseball game you win it with humility and go forward and if you don’t, you go out and tip your cap to that team and go out and try to beat them the next time. That’s all you can do. What's the sense of worrying about things? You can't change the outcome."
