Are they on speaking terms again? I thought they had a dust up a few years ago over Pete Rose or some such thing that led to the cancellation of their WLW radio show, "Brennaman and Bench on Baseball."

If Bench is being paid to be there (by Makers Mark) then by-gones can be by-gones, for a couple of hours.

Ive met Bench on a few corporate golf outings. The last time was for a weekend outing and he wouldn't sign autographs for ANYONE. He was asked to leave shortly thereafter. The guy is a piece of work. Would never want to meet him again. Especially if it costs money. Just like Rose, seems to be all for the cash.

Big difference between Pete and Johnny. While Pete makes a living signing his name, he will give you a freebie if you run into him on the street or when he is not at a personal appearance. Bench will not.
